MHD'S REGRETS : A DEEP REFLECTION FROM ITS CELL
Since his cell, MHD, the famous French rapper, has expressed deep regrets and painful awareness. Sentenced to 12 years in prison for complicity in the murder of the young Cameroonian Loïc Kamtchouang, he shared his thoughts and remorse after two weeks of imprisonment. In a poignant message, he said, "Between these four walls, I realize that man is worth nothing. To everyone I have offended, please apologize".
MHD first returns to the events that led to this tragedy, recognizing having been influenced by those around him: “I was misleading by relatives. That evening, after the incident, I understood that my life would never be the same again. I was influenced and pushed by a group of friends who, today, have all abandoned me".
Then he evokes the illusions that success brought him : "Success made me believe that I was ready to do everything. But today I realize how blinded I was".
Finally, MHD expresses a hope of redemption and future reunion : "We will see, Insha’Allah". This message testifies to a profound reflection on the consequences of his actions and a sincere desire to redeem himself. The time spent behind bars seems to have opened his eyes to the value of life and the errors of the past .
